(91 Punkte)

"Accessible, with rounded boysenberry and raspberry fruit laced with light spice and tea details. The open-knit feel will make this tasty right out of the gate."

"A final blend of 79% Merlot and 21% Cabernet Franc, the deep garnet-purple colored 2017 Plince offers up intense crème de cassis, blueberry pie and licorice notes with touches of bay leaves, cinnamon stick and violets. The palate is medium-bodied with a chewy frame and lively line supporting the muscular fruit, finishing on an earthy note."

"A serious tannic structure makes this austere and gripping. It's from 8.3ha of what Moueix describes as dark soil on an iron pan, which translates as clay and sand (Moueix distributes but the estate is owned by the Moreau family). This wine is hard to work your way through at first, but there are gorgeously nuanced, tight cassis notes with liquorice root, floral touches and menthol. The shields are fully up at this stage but give it time, as this is promising and should age well. Drinking Window 2026 – 2038”

"Barrel Sample. This is a ripe yet finely perfumed wine, with gentle tannins and layers of delicious black fruits. There is good balance thanks to ample acidity to counter the full, rich and rounded palate. Ideal for early drinking."
James Suckling: 90-91/100 Punkte
"A firm and silky red with blackberry and chocolate character. Medium body, medium tannins and a juicy finish."
